In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Doubt

[15:99] And worship your Lord, in order to attain certainty.

[3:60] This is the truth from your Lord; do not harbor any doubts.

[10:94] If you have any doubt regarding what is revealed to you from your Lord, then ask those who read the previous scripture. Indeed, the truth has come to you from your Lord. Do not be with the doubters.

[5:50] Is it the law of the days of ignorance that they seek to uphold? Whose law is better than GOD's for those who have attained certainty?

By nature, human beings are shortsighted, impatient, argumentative, hesitant, doubtful, and arrogant (70:19, 21:37, 75:5, 18:54, 14:9, 7:12). They tend to question everything and doubt all that is unseen. They argue about God, His greatness and infinite grace. Blinded by ego, falsehood in most of the time would make more sense to them than knowledge. Even those who utter the words of belief are mostly unable to take God's words literally and seriously the way they should be. The Most Merciful provides them with all the means that help get rid of any shade of doubt, yet, they continue to exhibit nothing but ignorance and lack of appreciation except a few - the ones who are worthy of guidance, knowledge and certainty.

[28:56] You cannot guide the ones you love. GOD is the only One who guides in accordance with His will, and in accordance with His knowledge of those who deserve the guidance.

[6:75] We showed Abraham the marvels of the heavens and the earth, and blessed him with certainty:

[21:51] Before that, we granted Abraham his guidance and understanding, for we were fully aware of him.

[21:79] We granted Solomon the correct understanding, though we endowed both of them with wisdom and knowledge. We committed the mountains to serve David in glorifying (God), as well as the birds. This is what we did.

During our journey of submission, we go through different stages of faith - from belief to submission to strong belief and certainty. The Most Gracious acknowledges our weakness, indecisiveness and doubt, and He promises those who choose Him to support them and augment their faith. With belief in our hearts and God's words in our conscious, we manage to accomplish our mission on earth of redeeming our souls. Striving in this direction while steadfastly persevering will progress us on His path from one stage to another until we achieve perfect certainty.

[90:4] We created the human being to work hard (to redeem himself).*

[7:174] We thus explain the revelations, to enable the people to redeem themselves.*

[51:55] And remind, for the reminder benefits the believers.
[51:56] I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone.
[51:57] I need no provisions from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.
[51:58] GOD is the Provider, the Possessor of all power, the Supreme.

[49:15] Mu'mens (believers) are those who believe in GOD and His messenger, then attain the status of having no doubt whatsoever, and strive with their money and their lives in the cause of GOD. These are the truthful ones.

Submitters are in need to observe their worship practices, follow God’s laws, and do the righteous works that please Him, irrespective of any traces of doubt they might have. This is the only recourse to certainty and can never get accomplished without pursuing the knowledge of the proven truth God has sent. The whole process will only redeem them, augment their belief, and let their soul grow stronger and their doubt shrink and eventually vanish. The Most Merciful has reassured our hearts by His assuring oaths and enlightening examples. Only those who choose His path will pursue His guidance & knowledge, witness His proofs & signs, benefit from His reminders & examples and rejoice in reciting His oaths:

[22:54] Those who are blessed with knowledge will recognize the truth from your Lord, then believe in it, and their hearts will readily accept it. Most assuredly, GOD guides the believers in the right path.

[14:27] GOD strengthens those who believe with the proven word, in this life and in the Hereafter. And GOD sends the transgressors astray. Everything is in accordance with God's will.

[51:23] By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is as true as the fact that you speak.

[56:75] I swear by the positions of the stars.
[56:76] This is an oath, if you only knew, that is awesome.
[56:77] This is an honorable Quran.
[56:78] In a protected book.
[56:79] None can grasp it except the sincere.

[75:1] I swear by the Day of Resurrection.
[75:2] And I swear by the blaming soul.
[75:3] Does the human being think that we will not reconstruct his bones?
[75:4] Yes indeed; we are able to reconstruct his finger tip.
[75:5] But the human being tends to believe only what he sees in front of him.
[75:6] He doubts the Day of Resurrection!

[86:12] By the earth that cracks (to grow plants).
[86:13] This is a serious narration.
[86:14] Not to be taken lightly.

[13:2] GOD is the One who raised the heavens without pillars that you can see, then assumed all authority. He committed the sun and the moon, each running (in its orbit) for a predetermined period. He controls all things, and explains the revelations, that you may attain certainty about meeting your Lord.

[41:53] We will show them our proofs in the horizons, and within themselves, until they realize that this is the truth. Is your Lord not sufficient as a witness of all things?
[41:54] Indeed, they are doubtful about meeting their Lord. He is fully aware of all things.

Furthermore, God continues to shower us with His grace by unveiling to our generation and the billions yet to come the mathematical miracle to remove any doubts about the divine authorship of Quran. With that comes the divine assurance about every single detail, miracle, example, warning, word, and letter therein (74:30-37).

In conclusion, both humans and jinns have been showered with all means and proofs to recognize God, choose His path, pursue His knowledge and move up from one stage to another towards true belief. A fully detailed Arabic Quran with authenticated words is available to the world as a source of guidance. It is our perseverance in studying Quran, worshiping God and redeeming & strengthening our souls that will let us eventually achieve certainty, when we can never go backward, or waver. This is when we feel overjoyed by our real liberation.

[30:60] Therefore, you shall steadfastly persevere - for GOD's promise is the truth - and do not be intimidated by those who have not attained certainty.

Peaceful Friday, salaam and God bless.
