 MUSIC AND SINGING WERE NEVER
PROHIBITED BY GOD. They are part of these most beautiful creations of God.
As long as they do not call on the people or encourage them to commit sin,
they are for the TRUE BELIEVERS TO ENJOY while remembering God with every
beautiful note or rhythm.
"Say, "Who prohibited the nice things God has
created for His creatures, and the good provisions?" Say,"such provisions
are to be enjoyed in THIS life by those who BELIEVE. Moreover, the good
provisions will be exclusively theirs on the Day of resurrection." We thus
explain the revelations for people who know." 7:32 (QURAN)
Those who really appreciate music and the beautiful voices that God created,
are more appreciative of God's creations and closer to God than those who
prohibit what God did not and see evil in these beautiful creations of God.

From a Distance

From a distance, the world looks blue and
green and the snow cap mountains white.
From a distance, the ocean meets the stream
and the eagle takes to flight.
From a distance, there is harmony and it
echoes through the land, it's the voice of
hope, it's the voice of peace, it's the voice of
every man.
From a distance, we all have enough and no
one is in need and there are no guns, no
bombs, no disease, and no hungry mouths to
feed.
From a distance, we are instruments marching
in a common band, playing songs of hope,
playing songs of peace, they are the songs of
every man.
God is watching us, God is watching us, God
is watching us from a distance.
From a distance, tou look like my friend even
though we are at war.
From a distance. I Just can not comprehend
what all this fighting Is for.
From a distance, there is harmony, and it
echoes through the land, and it's the hope of
hopes, and it's the love of loves, it's the heart
of every man. it's the hope of hopes it's the
love of loves, this is the song of every man.
And God is watching us from a distance. God

I'VE HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE.
I've been waiting for so long -
now I've finally found the path that leads to God.
There's the truth that's straight and clear
that you worship God alone devotedly.
God's the source of everything as He controls

Although I had listened to the song several times in the
past few years, I never really reflected on the meaning of
it. It can have many interpretations, but to me, this song
is about hardships that one can have in this life. He is
saying that when adversity befalls you, you have to get up
and move...get up off the floor. You have to face it and
realize that all this was planned by God.

To me, he's saying that you are existing here on this planet
for a reason. Things will happen to you, and people may talk
about you and criticize you, but in the end you have to turn
to God.
The tension is here, the tension is

Between who you are and who you could

Between how it is and how it should be
He's saying that in this life, you will face resistance.
People will disagree with your beliefs and argue with you
and try to corrupt you. They wait for you to make a mistake
so they can make wrong assumptions and cause tension. In
the last two verses above, he's saying that there could be a
difference between who you are and who you could be. And
between how things are and how you think they should be. One
must always remember that you should be living for God, and
you should be a person that God would approve of. You have
to always remember that things will always go according to
God's plan.

yourself?
He's saying that it might take a lot of struggle and testing
to achieve God's redemption. The obstacles you face in this
life can lead to forgiveness from God if you follow His
path. You can't escape from this life because God put you
here for a reason. Where can you go? God is controlling
everything, and you can only go where God chooses for you to
go. Salvation is here...it comes from God when you decide to
worship Him alone.

These lyrics are very powerful to me. When you face a
hardship, you have to move, get up, and do something about
it. You should not sit around and blame yourself, other
people, or especially God. You have to turn completely to
God in the face of your hardship. This song is about a
search for meaning and salvation, which all goes back to
God.
