In The Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Sex and Virginity in Islam
Staying a virgin until the wedding night is a requirement for the Muslim
who believes God in His
book. The Quran teaches in a very clear way that the happiness in this life
(and in the Hereafter)
depends on following God's law (e.g. Quran) . Our sons and daughters brothers
and sisters should be
taught that they should keep their chastity, for their own happiness.
"Successful indeed are the believers, who are reverent
during their Contact prayers (Salat). And they
avoid vain talk. And they give their obligatory charity (Zakat). And THEY
MAINTAIN THEIR
CHASTITY. Only with their spouses, or those who are rightfully theirs do
they have sexual relations;
they are not to be blamed. Those who transgress these limits are the
transgressors." 23:1-7
"Tell the believing men that they shall subdue their
eyes, and to maintain their chastity. This is purer
for them. God is fully Cognizant of everything they do.
And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and to maintain their chastity..........." 24:30-31
