INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO VERIFY THE INITIALS COUNTS

1) Click on the link in the middle of this page that says "Click here to verify these initial counts in the Arabic Quran text." A new window will open up. Leave this window open. This page shows you the computer's count of the digital Arabic Quran text with images from the modern Egyptian edition of the Arabic Quran.

2) Open up a new browser window and go to this internet address: http://www.submission.org/miracle/visual.html This is Dr. Khalifa's book "Visual Presentation of the Miracle". Download the PDF files listed. (If you don't have Acrobat Reader, you can download it free from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html )

3) From the PDF files you downloaded in Step 2, find the corresponding part in the book that shows the initials counts for this chapter.

4) Get a pen and paper. Make a table with three columns. For each verse, count the initials in the computer count from step 2. Write the computer count in the first column. Then count the initials in Dr. Khalifa's count from step 3, then write this down in the next column. And then count the letters by yourself looking at the white images of the Egyptian edition of the Quran from step 2. Write this in the third column. If all three numbers are not the same, at least one of the three counts is wrong. Carefully go over the verse again, compare each letter individually. If you can't resolve this difference, consult to others and let them know.

5) Repeat this till the end of the chapter.

٭Among these 7 chapters, not only the sum of the frequencies of the letters ح (Hah) and م (Meem) is a multiple of 19 when you add all 7 together, but there are also 4 more subgroups of these chapters which yield a multiple of 19 when the frequencies of the letters ح (Hah) and م (Meem) are added together in the same manner. These subgroups are {40,41,42}, {43,44,45,46}, {41,42,43}, and {40,44,45,46}. These are the only subgroups among all possible 112 combinations of subgroups among these 7 chapters. What is truely miraculous is that if you add the individual digits of the frequency numbers of ح (Hah) and م (Meem) in these 4 subgroups and also the whole 7 chapters as well, you get the number that divides the total sum of the frequencies for each chapter by 19.
