In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

We will deal with the dividers - 15 verse 90

[7:52] We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, with knowledge, guidance, and mercy for the people who believe.

[29:43] We cite these examples for the people, and none appreciate them except the knowledgeable.

Our knowledge of the Quran is one of the guards we have against Satan. When we're fully aware of God's teachings and commands in the Quran, we're less likely to fall into Satan's traps or to follow his path. Our ignorance definitely aids in making us easy targets for him.

[29:49] In fact, these revelations are clear in the chests of those who possess knowledge. Only the wicked will disregard our revelations.

[35:28] Also, the people, the animals, and the livestock come in various colors. This is why the people who truly reverence GOD are those who are knowledgeable. GOD is Almighty, Forgiving.

Among many of the characteristics of the Quran is that sometimes the details regarding specific matters are listed in different verses of different chapters. It's our duty when studying and dealing with these issues in our life to examine them in the light of the WHOLE context of the Quran. This would be the appropriate approach to conclude the right teachings and grasp the correct understandings. Failing to do so would result in gathering insufficient facts about certain matters which will lead to reaching wrong and even contradictory conclusions due to the negligence of other verses that would properly clarify them for us. We should always remember that there is no contradictions in the words of God and that all of God's systems are unchangeable. It's always our shortcoming, and this kind of selective following of certain verses that would create such contradictions, disputes, and different opinions and thus disunity and different actions. God has specifically invited us to practice caution when we study the Quran and has assured us that all the details are contained in it. We only have to do our homework and examine His words carefully, from cover to cover:

[4:82] Why do they not study the Quran carefully? If it were from other than GOD, they would have found in it numerous contradictions.

[5:101] O you who believe, do not ask about matters which, if revealed to you prematurely, would hurt you. If you ask about them in light of the Quran, they will become obvious to you. GOD has deliberately overlooked them. GOD is Forgiver, Clement.

[73:4] Or a little more. And read the Quran from cover to cover.

Some people with a certain disease in their hearts intentionally make it their business to create divisions, confusion, and contradictory stands through this Satanic game of partially obeying God's laws and selectively applying the Quran. God has sufficiently warned us against this practice and against these hypocrites:

[15:90] We will deal with the dividers.
[15:91] They accept the Quran only partially.
[15:92] By your Lord, we will question them all,
[15:93] about everything they have done.

[2:85] Yet, here you are killing each other, and evicting some of you from their homes, banding against them sinfully and maliciously. Even when they surrendered, you demanded ransom from them. Evicting them was prohibited for you in the first place. Do you believe in part of the scripture and disbelieve in part? What should be the retribution for those among you who do this, except humiliation in this life, and a far worse retribution on the Day of Resurrection? GOD is never unaware of anything you do.

[3:23] Have you noted those who were given part of the scripture, and how they are invited to uphold this scripture of GOD, and apply it to their own lives, then some of them turn away in aversion?

[13:36] Those who received the scripture rejoice in what was revealed to you; some others may reject parts of it. Say, "I am simply enjoined to worship GOD, and never associate any idols with Him. I invite to Him, and to Him is my ultimate destiny."

[42:10] If you dispute any part of this message, the judgment for doing this rests with GOD. Such is GOD my Lord. In Him I trust, and to Him I submit.

Believers in God alone and followers of Quran alone are expected to to be united, speaking one language - the language of true guidance - and acting according to the only one valid source of laws. We cannot take Quran-based actions if we are not fully aware of all the details mentioned throughout the 114 chapters of this infallible, fully detailed, Arabic Quran. We cannot be united with one voice, one choice, and one action if we fail to encompass the whole context of the Quran, and grasp all the tiny details of every single issue in the entire book. Selectivity and partial obedience means nothing and leads to nothing but confusion, divisions, weakness, and ultimately a total loss of voice of the truth. In this case, Satan is a winner. He rejoices when we start having personal opinions and different answers even to the very crystal clear, straightforward matters.

Believers are United [3:103] You shall hold fast to the rope of GOD, all of you, and do not be divided. Recall GOD's blessings upon you - you used to be enemies and He reconciled your hearts. By His grace, you became brethren. You were at the brink of a pit of fire, and He saved you therefrom. GOD thus explains His revelations for you, that you may be guided.

[61:4] GOD loves those who fight in His cause united in one column, like the bricks in one wall.

[3:105] Do not be like those who became divided and disputed, despite the clear proofs that were given to them. For these have incurred a terrible retribution.

Sectarianism Condemned [30:32] (Do not fall in idol worship,) like those who divide their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what they have. No Compulsion in Religion [2:256] There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient.

God's call for unity is the only valid one and the knowledge of the Quran is an important element of its foundation. Being able to correctly extract the right conclusions to implement them to our daily life as a community is the literal meaning of holding fast to the rope of God and grasping the strongest bond .. Satan's call for unity is in fact a call for division in disguise. It's based on illusion. He jumps in when we choose wrong and works hard so we lose our eyesight, misunderstand and wrongly apply certain verses by ignoring other related ones. Not only that, but he also picks and chooses for us certain verses, taken out of context, to add legitimacy to his views. Only the knowledgeable of the WHOLE Quran can understand these kinds of schemes and defeat Satan with the Truth.

[20:114] Most Exalted is GOD, the only true King. Do not rush into uttering the Quran before it is revealed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase my knowledge."

Peaceful Friday, salaam and God bless.
